Junior’s smarts
are off the charts, and he has an insatiable appetite for learning whatever topic his dad feeds him. His father is Frank Stone, a genetics research Professor who is at the cutting edge of the field. Being stationary never troubled Junior because it is all he has ever known. However, at a very early age, he acquained himself with his dad’s computer and the internet which gave him a window to the outside world. Soon, he learns how children progress from babyhood, who crawl, then toddlers who walk and then run. But he’s never done any of that. Why? What does he look like? It’s odd that his dad always puts off letting him look at himself in a mirror.
But one days he finally sees his reflection in the dark screen of a computer. He is devastated when he finally comprehends the physical nature of his being. Should he just kill himself? With all the life support equipment surrounding him, he could easily accomplish
it.
Or was it still possible to find meaning and purpose in life and be a blessing to others?
